How EmergDoc uses and protects mobile information for SMS communications.

EmergDoc may use text messaging to communicate with individuals who have provided a mobile number and consented to receive SMS communications from us. These messages may include service-related follow-up, review requests, scheduling or administrative updates, and responses to inquiries.

For text messaging, we may collect your name, mobile phone number, message content, consent status, opt-in and opt-out records, delivery status, and related communication history.
How Consent Is Collected
EmergDoc collects SMS consent only when an individual provides a mobile phone number and affirmatively agrees to receive text messages from EmergDoc. The public consent language is available on our Text Messaging Consent page.
How We Use Mobile Information
We use mobile information only to send and manage EmergDoc text message communications, respond to requests, maintain consent and opt-out records, troubleshoot message delivery, and comply with applicable messaging program requirements.
Mobile Number Non-Sharing Statement
EmergDoc does not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except as needed to provide the messaging service or as required by law.
Messaging Service Providers
We may use trusted service providers, including telecommunications and messaging platform providers, to send and manage text messages on our behalf. These providers are permitted to use mobile information only to support delivery and operation of the messaging program.
Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary based on your relationship with EmergDoc and the nature of the communication. You may receive occasional messages related to follow-up, review requests, scheduling, administrative updates, or direct responses to your inquiries.
Rates and Opt-Out

Data Retention and Security
We retain text messaging records only as long as reasonably necessary for communication, compliance, security, and recordkeeping purposes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect mobile information.
